FIRE ART AND EFFECTS

Illuminarium FireFlies

 

 

• The FireFlies are propane fuelled flame emitters with permanent pilot flames

• Capable of producing flame jets and fireballs of up to 4m high

• The FireFlies have a ‘sound to fire’ capability, producing fire in time to music

• Universal mounts allow for angled positioning up to 45º in all directions

• Can be attached to standard scaffold or lighting trusses up to 10m from ground level.

The Big Tea’se

 

• A self contained, interactive fire sculpture incorporating 4 copper kettles.

•  Each kettle is  capable of producing a flame from its spout.

• Forms a stunning centre piece

• Interactive spoon ‘keyboard’ enables spectators to ‘play’ the kettles.

This bespoke sculpture was built as an installation piece for the Burningman London Decompression Event in 2009. Our concept was to create a fire sculpture that would bring the spirit of warmth and community felt at Burningman in Nevada in summer time to a London venue, in winter time.
